Danny Paschall

Daniel Paschall was born in Exmore, VA.

Since everyone on his father's side of the family was a musician/music fan of some sort , and since he wasn't "in" with the cool kids at school (a fraction of every musician's life story), he decided to occupy his time learning an instrument.  His father, "The Amazing Firpo", got him a drum set by age 11.

He gravitated toward the drums because he found hitting things to be very therapeutic. He developed his talents to the point to where he started gigging with various bands around his hometown whilst studying percussion formally with Berklee graduate, Billy Barton. After high school he relocated to Atlanta to study at the Atlanta Institute of Music.  He's been doing music as his full time "job" ever since.

Some of the people whom he has worked/played/toured with include, Col. Bruce Hampton Ret., Ike Willis (guitar player and vocalist for Frank Zappa's band; '79-'88), Atlanta Funk Society, Emil Werstler (guitarist for Chimaira/Daath), From Exile, Alex Gordon Hi-Fi, NoJaboinga, Caravan of Fools (GA Renaissance Fest. act), Kevin Scott, Keith Jenkins (musical director for James Brown's band),Grant Green Jr., Jacob Deaton, Kebbi Williams (of Tedeschi/Trucks Band & the Wolfpack), Church Basement Band...

...along with many other talented folks around Atlanta's music scene and elsewhere.
